Dear Friends,
March was the month when the International Women’s Day was celebrated. As it was also the month when the world’s largest Travel Fair, the ITB was held in Berlin, Germany, I happened to be in Berlin on the 8th of March. Wasn’t I pleasantly surprised to learn that a holiday had been declared in Berlin to celebrate the day!
Well, let’s not argue the pros and cons of this, but I am happy to share that at Jetwing, we have many women who have reached great heights in their careers, performing and excelling equally, if not better than their male peers. Suffice to say we are very proud of our ladies who will take excellent care of your travel needs, whether as a reservation assistant, travel counselor, guide, ranger, banquet staff, massage therapist or a general manager of one of our celebrated hotels. Hope you will experience this in the near future.
We are equally respectful of our lady guests. Solo travel being on the rise, we are gearing ourselves well to serve this important segment successfully. We have carefully curated experiences at our Travel units that will definitely delight the female solo travelers, among many others
We are excited about introducing our Jetwing Safari Camps at Yala, Sri Lanka’s foremost wildlife park. Replete with all modern comforts, a personal butler awaits you to ensure you are well taken care of. Our trained, knowledgeable and passionate rangers are ready to take you on a never to be forgotten experience.
We have also started constructions of our property in Kandy, we will share more details soon. Our teams at the different units in the Travels sector has many different and exciting experiences planned for you, hope you will enjoy these in the months to come.
Warm wishes and to all our valued female partners and clients, march on and simply enjoy being a woman! |
