Dear Friends,

We are almost nearing the first Quarter of 2015! I hope it has been good for you so far both personally and business wise, it certainly has been good for us. Sri Lanka is on a roll, and the tourism numbers are increasing year on year. The country has very diversified markets and hence we tend to get visitors from different parts of the world at different times of the year.

The highlight last month was welcoming many Chinese visitors during the Chinese New Year!

Jetwing was also privileged to be associated with Air China when they launched 4 weekly flights to Colombo from Chengdu on 10th February, as their GSA in Sri Lanka. We are confident this will open new avenues for us Sri Lankans both in terms of Inbound and Outbound travel.

We saw our team battling it out in New Zealand during the first round of the Cricket World Cup. And thereon they moved into Australia for the next round. We were proud to see them qualify for the Quarter Final. We wish them well for their upcoming games! Right here in Sri Lanka it’s the time for the “Big matches”! This means the annual cricket encounters between rival schools. This is an event where the past and present students have a time of their lives. The colorful school flags, the cycle parades, the papare bands are all out in full force.

This month Sri Lanka’s own Colombo Fashion Week took place at the Hilton, Colombo. Over 3 days the best of Sri Lanka’s fashion designers as well as emerging talent showcased their creations.

It’s exciting times for us and we wish you the same fun and adventure.
