December has always been the nicest time of the year for me. It brings back fond memories of listening to Christmas carols and writing Christmas cards with my Dad, who is no more. I tried replicating this with my son, with no success. Nevertheless, the decor, the baubles, the music, the amazing food, friends and relatives getting together all add to this wonderful feeling.

This year the situation is still one of cautious optimism. Whilst the world is trying to understand the newest mutation of the cover variant, we hold our breath for confirmation that it is less potent and will leave the world or remain in a milder form. That is my Christmas wish.

We at Jetwing are working to our full capacity as Sri Lanka has been fully open from September this year with a simple entry requirement of a negative PCR test done within 72 hours prior to entry as long as you are fully vaccinated. Visitors are then permitted to travel freely in the country and the Hotels are all tested for adherence to safe and secure practices. Our team of chauffeur guides and guides have all been trained on the health protocols and strive hard to take care of themselves and their clients.
